Semantic lookup
Query authored spaces from Director-side code.
Adapters / First-party adapter
An SGF-to-SGF connection between world semantics and orchestration.
01 / How it works
Director scripts can query loaded world areas, assemblies, spaces and anchors by their authored identity or context. References are revalidated so a script does not mistake an unloaded or changed world object for a live one.
02 / In a game
A Director event needs a suitable town square. The adapter queries loaded world areas and anchors by semantic context, validates the result, and returns useful places to project-authored scripts.
Query authored spaces from Director-side code.
Handle streamed-out or changed world references.
Keep world definition separate from event decisions.
03 / Design ownership
The studio writes the scenario logic that acts on those results.
This adapter provides location queries, not procedural missions or encounter generation.
04 / System connections
SURVIVAL / CO-OP / Illustrative composition
Pair lightweight populations with full interactions, AI decision-making, persistent resources and world event orchestration. The studio chooses how hordes behave and how co-op survival feels.
STORY / EXPLORATION / Illustrative composition
Combine meaningful places, interaction contracts, authored objectives and save participation while leaving narrative, dialogue and puzzles entirely in the studio’s hands.
STRATEGY / RTS / Illustrative composition
Mass populations, team relationships, coordination, areas and authored world events can contribute to an RTS or simulation. The actual command model, economy and unit behaviours stay in the game.
