Relay / fictional worked example

Locally verified checks

The following checks were executed while assembling this content pack using the included files, from the 04-executable-example directory.

python3 -m unittest discover -s tests -v
Ran 13 tests
OK

python3 tools/validate_fixture.py fixtures/valid-request.json
VALID: fixtures/valid-request.json

python3 -m compileall -q relay tools tests
(exit 0)

Scope of evidence: Python standard-library demonstration of the intake contract, fixture-validator behaviour, and syntax compilation. This is not evidence of production readiness.

One of the passing tests intentionally proves a known design gap: a failing audit sink leaves a request in the in-memory store without an audit event. That is a release-blocking consideration for a real system, not a success criterion.

Versions and execution environment may differ when Codex reruns the pack. Codex should execute the checks again and report the actual outcome rather than relying on this record alone.
